He'd become "Alisimer the Sleeping God" somewhere along the road, rather than what his newest friend and fellow god, Ameit, had once called him. He used to be called "The Great Tech Support In The Sky", the one who people had learned to turn to for help with everything from starting a computer to coding the very bombs that had led to their inevitable demise. Nesce and Nale had been so damned smug at him about that one, and it was the last thing he'd heard before he fell into a deep sleep, the condition of his first two-hundred and fifty years of godhood- if the level of technology in the world ever lost the bare bones of what he had been born into, he would sleep until the first, most basic computers came around again. Alisimer had been awake and steadily furthering his goals, carefully disabling functions of war, working 'gremlins' into the system.
Embarrassingly, the Cult of the Sleeping God had become a full-blown Temple of Alisimer, though he did appreciate that he had a whole contingent of priests helping him spread the word, and, better, he had the priests and priestesses learn higher technical skills than were out on the market, on the condition that he would make nothing work for them again if they went into projects that could be used for war. There were even more tech-mages around, and he was careful to have his priests keep them carefully away from wars. He wondered if the proliferation of tech-mages was a reflection of his relationship with Krin- only what had been Kria, what was now under Krin's protection, had the high number of tech-mages.
Still, now was a relative lull- there were always requests for tech support, but Ameit, who had valued his lifelong and enduring loyalty to Krin, had once told him with amusement that he didn't really have to listen to them all. So Alisimer was sprawled out in the center of what amounted to his dream home, enjoying the relative peace and quiet.

David glared at his computer, shoving his glasses up his face. This was starting to get worrying. Kira was gone, and... as far as he could tell, with his poking around, she was nowhere to be found. Not that he had much in the way of ability to poke around the system- he could enter commands faster and that was about it. His entire body ached and cried out for sleep, for food, for water... he sipped at the glass he had nearby, made a face, and ordered himself a small thing of gatorade.
He couldn't do this, any more than he could have survived without Kira or Jess there. Maybe that's what the Bat's been rambling at me about this whole time, he thought, drumming his fingers on his desk. He got to his feet, entire body protesting the movement, and staggered over to the wall alarm. Thankfully, the store he'd staked his claim on had automatic doors- easy enough to shut off. He didn't think the residents of the City would actually break in, but it never hurt to be paranoid. He turned his alarm on with far too much ease and went back to his laptop, ordering himself over to Kira's.
"...Riku?" he croaked, voice weak. Ow.

...Maybe I've gotten too used to people showing up to foist food off on me, but...
...Where's Kira?
Edit: So far the list of people who we know nothing of their whereabouts is... Kira, Hakuba, and Mello. ...Riku? Do you know anything about what happened to Kira?

For once, David was leaving Kira's house. The brown-haired mage was looking around dubiously, as if the world outside of the house would suddenly spring up and bite him in the face. He had a laptop in a bag, hanging on his side, and was peering into buildings nervously. Biting his lower lip, he ignored some of the nearest buildings and moved on. He wasn't going to be satisfied with just any place... The techno-mage had grown rapidly dissatisfied with the amount of people popping in and out of Kira's house recently, and had decided it was high time he found a place of his own. The mage valued not only his privacy, but a lack of intrusions from the mostly-male population of the city at the end of the universe.
Sighing, David sat down against the outside of a building and closed his eyes. This was more walking than he was used to.

[This is David in his usual state of being, sprawled out somewhere, practically comatose, with a laptop.]
Miranda said no.
Miranda also said it's about time I moved out of here, because it seems like my magic is in control enough that I should practice moving around in the real world, or what is close enough to, this far north.

I just saw another person in here! Miranda says she's in here because her magic could do a bunch of weird things, because she's not a normal mage like the rest of us. It's usually so boring and quiet in here, and unless an adult is with them they don't stay for long, but she was in a room like mine! She seemed really out of it, though...
I wonder if Miranda would let me talk to her. It's lonely and boring in here.

It's been a few years since I wrote. James broke my arm just after he found that journal I kept when I was littler, and then I was scared to write again, and then I got taken to Far North with Miranda. Miranda says it's a good thing for me to write, too. I'm so bored in here, with just lights and nothing else I have magic with to pass the time. I should probably write about all the stuff that happened between then and now, but I don't really want to. Miranda says I should, though.
I am so bored I'm thinking about doing it. I have class work to do in here. Miranda says I have to stay away from major electrical grids until I learn how to control my power better, because I could cause big problems. Sometimes I think she talks to me like I'm really stupid, and sometimes she talks to me and I feel like the only words I understand out of her mouth are 'and', 'but', 'the', 'an', 'because', and 'or'. She does things that make my head feel funny sometimes, only it's not my head, but it feels like a lot of it is in my head. She says it will help me control my magic.
Some of the things mages do here are so weird. I heard some mages can sing people into feeling things, and there was someone here with a little girl mage who had red hair. He said she could help me sleep when I knocked out the lights because I had a nightmare. She sang to me and I couldn't stay awake. Her voice was pretty, though.
